Roundabout, by Yes. (The film School Of Rock, which I saw yesterday, featured Yes' album, Fragile, which contains this top notch song. I own that album, too - vindication is mine! )

Mad World: Gary Jules and some other guy I cant remember
Love this song, dunno why because it's quite depressing really but the film it's in, Donnie Darko is excellent.

It was great. Might be a one-hit wonder though.
Anyhoo...
Beatles- A Day in the Life. I still don't know whether I love this or hate it. It is surreal in the extreme.
Queen- Innuendo album. The penultimate studio one, and the last before Mercury's death. Many great tracks (Innuendo, I'm Going Slightly Mad, Headlong, Bijou, Hitman, These are the days of Our Lives) and the powerful, haunting The show Must Go On.
Puretone- Addicted to bass. The only dance track in my collection (unless you count Queen's Hot space a 'dance' album), and just a pleasant grungy tune.
George Harrison- Brainwashed. The final album by Harrsion, released posthumously, contains so many pleasant ditties (AnyRoad, Between the devil and the Deep Blue Sea, Marwa Blues).
Now that's music!

I very much like A Day In The Life - I wonder if it's about parallel universes?
Brainwashed is a fine album. I bought it the day it came out in November 2002, I think. I like Any Road, P2 Vatican Blues, Pisces Fish, Rising Sun and Marwa Blues the best. I don't know whether the Grammys have come yet but I know that he was nominated in several categories, including Best Rock Instrumental for Marwa Blues. I really hope he wins that one, since it's the very last showcase for the lead guitar of the Beatles.

He did win, thankfully. I think the Beatles collectively were honoured for something likem a lifetime achievemnet award.
An amazing little instrumental, Marwa Blues. Reminded me of Bijou by Queen (on their Innuendo album), in that the music seems to echo that of a distant and barren world, yet one of serenity.
On the other hand it could just be a pleasant ditty.

Innuendo is a powerful album, especially bearing in mind how close to Freddie's death it was put together. My friend's friend's dad played the wandering minstrel guitar on the title song, apparently. 'Delilah', the song about a cat, is amusing ('...when you pee all over my Chippendale suite...').
Hot Space is an odd Queen album, I think. It hasn't got much going for it, except 'Under Pressure'.

Except the more you listen to it, the more you tolerate it.
Hot space, that is. 'Staying Power' is great live (on their latest DVD), Dancer is quite catchy, and I liked Backchat.
The cool cat song was rubbish, though. The much better song about cats was as you mentioned 'Delilah'. Almost nauseatingly cute.

I still have most of the albums on cassette rather than CD.
Hang on... Las Palabras De Amor - that's on Hot Space, isn't it? That's a very classy song.
As Queen songs go, Delilah is indeed cute. Brian May does endless amounts of creative stuff on his guitar; and the way he uses it to imitate a cat miaowing on Delilah, is rather memorable.
