That was where I was staying, yes. We were woken by the smell of smoke (we were on the fourth floor) and had to get out bloody quick. The four of us weren't among the 13 who needed hospital treatment, although we did inhale a fair bit of smoke on the way down. I was the first one to get out, although I lost count of which floor I was on on the way down and I couldn't see a thing. Luckily, the front door had been smashed open seconds before we came down so we were able to get out.
We later found out that the ceiling of the cafe had white asbestos in it. Another half an hour in our apartment with the smoke and we would have been killed.
Still, you've got to laugh, eh? ;D

Thanks.  We're all OK now. Had to rinse out all our nasal passages, though, to flush out all the soot and debris! That was such fun!  |

Hehe. Still, I was asking for it. Me is always complaining that interesting things never happen to me!  Never ever use a SHUNT spell. Those things are very unpredictable. |
