I'm reading the novelisation of 12 Monkeys - haven't seen the film yet, but after I've read the book I think I will! I bought a load of second-hand books yesterday, including that one. The others I got were 3 Dean Koontz ones (one of them's called Tick Tock), one called Ragnarok (I've forgotten the author's name) and Murder On The Orient Express (haven't seen the film version of that, somehow!).

I really enjoyed murder on the Orient express, read it on a flight to Florida when I was 14, still remember the ending, was v.good.
Dracula on the other hand I thought was good until they went back to whitby and then I thought it got really boring. Actually I didn't finish it! Perhaps I should try and read it again sometime, considering I was only 8 when I first tried to read it!
I cant believe you get to read Dracula for school! We had to read dodgy Shakespeare crap, and to kill a Mockingbird, ugh.
;D

I was so busy ranting on about dracula that I forgot to mention what I am currently reading.
Rack, rope and red hot pincers: A bloodcurling account of instruments of torture through the ages by Geoffrey Abbott
Just a little light reading, as you do

Hehe, when I was in high school, me and my friend Andrew would talk about some morbid things like would we prefer being buried or cremated, what teachers would we save if a plane crashed into the school, that kind of thing!

So what would you prefer - being buried or cremated? I think I'd choose being cremated for myself, it's environmentally friendly and there'll be no maggots *shudders*

Ditto, hehe i've had disagreements with my mum about burial vs cremation.
I'd rather be cremated because, lets face it, your not there anymore, just your body is so you might as well just get rid of me leaving only a few bits of ash rather than a dead body lying about, me Mum doesn't want to be burnt (even though I've repeatedly told her she wont actually be in her body anymore) but she doesnt want to be buried near a tree either because then the roots will apparently 'grow through' her.
So if I ever need the upper hand in an argument i threaten her with tree burial

heh, neither! ;D I'd be cryogenically frozen, so I could be brought back later! Or I'd find the secret to eternal life! ;D Seriously though, cremated, and my ashes scattered over the sea so my spirit can see the places I never got too. Does that sound a bit morbid?

nope not at all, i'm up for cremation and then my family can dump my ashes wherever they like.
Hello? I'm not THERE anymore!

I'd like my ashes to be scattered in outer space - 'cause that's where I belong! ;D
