Heyya guys! I've been away for a while but I LOVE all these ideas for uniforms being thrown around! I adore the chinese/japanese style tops, and think thats a go-go! As for colours, I think silver should be the general school colour, and the trim represents the house colour. purple for PTB, and perhaps midnight blue for the Opposition. I'm going to make designs for these uniforms and post them on my website, if people would like to see One little gripe I have is the naming of the houses. There is too much split between good and evil - I think we should know which is which, but have names with a meaning to them. Something like named after flowers - double barrelled names, maybe. The first flower in the name represents whether the house is good or evil, eg: Lily-Thorn is the good house (might also be named after the famous dungeoneer Barry Thorne) Nettle-Rose is the bad house (though it might be nice to find a way of incorporating a name after another dungeoneer into it). Now we need to think up school rules. They are there to be broken on occasion - thats what makes it fun! First rules, ladies (as at the moment it seems to be an all girls' school bar Malefact)... 1. No makeup or jewellery is to be worn without the consent of the staff or otherwise stated (eg. School events, celebrations, or registered night-time expeditions) |

I just had another idea for the uniform. Would any of you guys object to a Silver dragon being the school crest - the badge being attached to berets in your house colour.
THATS RIGHT! I said berets. I wear one for cadets and trust me, they are comfortable, they look smart and they give that more uniform touch to the modern look! I'll add it into thew designs. Waddaya think? ;D

Can it be an artist-type beret? I don't suppose that's a problem with the silver dragon being the school mascot - nah, I suppose that's OK! There should be a house for neutral people - the ones who aren't on the light or dark side. The ones who are "a distinct shade of dark grey" a la Hordriss in Series 3. |

I got an idea for a rule: Dont bring dangerous creatures to school: Goblins, pookas, red dragons....Petra
And is it ok if I teach magical creature psykology? (how to not get eaten when you have no spells or items) since its the only thig I know something about

Hehe. I'm working in an all-girls school. ;D I quite like the idea of a silver robe. I choose to have a photoct sash (photoct being the eighth colour of the rainbow - it's below violet and resembles gold, and has the same fuzziness that violet has). As suggested, I'll start a new thread for my lessons. Quasi-Existential Magick! |
