Apologies for not having been around for ages due to the wonder that is freshers week (day off today, thank goodness! )
As the moderator of the cafe (and not just any old mod, a GLOBAL mod too! hehe) I'd like to say hi! and if yous got any questions then just let me know, I'll do my best to answer them, or find another mod who can!

Perhaps! yeah, hehe all i really know about him is that funhouse replaced Knightmare when it came of air (so I guess you could say it's an 'in' Knightmare private joke to hate funhouse) and he released a really dodgy single that my parents still have the record of!

I think Funhouse and Knightmare coexisted for many years. At one point Funhouse was on a Wednesday. In all fairness, it's probably not Pat Sharp's fault if they rescheduled it, though he did have his annoying moments. First and last he is a DJ - I've heard him on Capital FM and Heart FM. Around '92-'94, Pat Sharp presented What's Up Doc? on Saturday mornings, with Andy Crane and Yvette Fielding. They had a feature going at one point, where people could write in for a sample of Pat's Sharp's Charisma - he'd open a perfume bottle and his voice would be emitted, saying 'Seeeensational!' I remember that my boyhood dream was to be in/on Knightmare (obviously  ), but second to that, to have a session in the Funhouse. 'Funhouse It's a quiz, it's a race Feel what you face Use your body and your brain If you wanna play the game!' (Sorry, it emerged from my memory) If only Treguard had done the same as Pat on Funhouse, and had blonde mini-skirted twins as assistants!

Sorry, I didn't mean to cause any resentment. 'Pickle for ever' would have been good . I like the fact that David Learner played both Pickle, and Marvin the Paranoid Android on Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. But 'Majida forever' is a phrase that is heard a lot less often... I did go on a bit about Pat Sharp. I'm not a particular fan of his. There is a picture of Mr. Sharp lurking on knightmare.com, if you know where to look... |
