Same here. I've got Fawlty Towers, The Thin Blue Line, Futurama series 2, Red Dwarf 2 and a few others (can't remember offhand!). I hope to build on that.

It hasn't caught on that much in my house yet but that's because I'm the only one with a dvd player! Lots of videos, though.

Ah, I have an amusing story about our first dvd player, but first i'll have to take you back about 2 years...
I really wanted to get one and had managed to convert Dad into wanting to get one so only had to convert Mum who wasn't so sure as she was worried they'd turn into another 'Betamax failure'. Back then on Saturdays we'd regularly drive up to John Lewis in Oxford Street to do some shopping (well, mainly for Mum to do some shopping!) One Saturday Mum wanted to go but dad and I didn't so, my excelent buisness brain spying an opportunity thought up a cunning plan, being that Dad and I would take her shopping up Oxford Strret on one condition, she brought us a DVD player, for some strange reason she thought this was a good deal (Paying £300 for a dvd player rather than going on her own for free) so she accepted and that's the story of our first DVD player!
Fast forward 2 years and we now own 5 of the things, no wonder we've got a lot of film then eh?!
hehe

Hehe. I think she may have been secretly won over already. Mums are like that. My story is a bit dull, I'm afraid! I just got my player last Christmas as a surprise present (I didn't ask for one ) with a couple of dvds. I was sort of take-it-or-leave-it at the time but I've really been won over by the quality and the nice menus! ;D

Hehe! And all the extras you get are great, too. The Red Dwarf II dvd I've got has a cast commentary. It's a hoot! ;D Deleted scenes, too. Promo trailers, documentaries. It goes on. And all one just one disc, too. Ten years ago it would have looked very space age indeed!
