Thought I'd start up this thread about biscuits, seeing as most of us are students and therefore our staple food should be biscuits, feel free to post your favourite biscuits so evetually we should have a massive shared biscuit resource and hopefully other peeps will be encouraged to try new biscuit varieties they've never tried before! HURRAH!
If we could all keep to the same format that would be great!
Format as follows
Name of Biscuit: (CAPITALS WOULD LOOK WELL GOOD FOR THIS BIT)
Description/Size and Shape of biscuits/What its made of
What the biscuit tastes like
Rating (out of ten, be honest, no biscuit is ever perfect!)

JAFFA CAKE
Small round biscuit with a 'cake' base and a chocolate top with a jaffa orange centre.
No wonder these biscuits are actually called cakes! They're soft and chewy (and incidentally very good for your cholestrol due to their low fat content) and the jaffa orange gives it a great tang! You can also eat loads of them without feeling full or being sick. I have been known to eat an entire packet by myself on occasions! hehe
Rating: 9
lost marks due to the fact that it's just too small, if they were the size of a digestive then that would be heaven!

LUXURY CHOCOLATE-CHIP COOKIES At home we sometimes get some chocolate-chip cookies - made with Belgium chocolate, and sprinkled with nuts. Very nice. Rating: 8 (I prefer jaffa cakes)

I'm afraid I can't remember off-hand. They may very well be Asda's own brand, though. I'll ask my mum. She's bound to know.

Thanks for that! I'll get my mum to nip in next time she's in Chelmsford or somewhere like that. Pink wafers! Woohoo! I haven't had one of those in a very long time - can't think why, I really like those. There's also a biscuit selection we get at Christmas and in it there's a sort of long shortbread-type biscuit sandwich with chocolate in between. The biscuit itself is sort of rivetted along at the sides. I really like those, too.

Hehe. My sister likes doing that, too. Trouble is, she totally craps the kitchen up and muggins here is left to do the washing up after she loses interest.
