do you? if so, what as? if not, how do you get cash. i only just got a job and the cash is V.useful. im right now...a part time video rental assistent  yes, i know there's not much lower to go, but the work isnt too taxing (though the boss is occasionally) and the pay is fair enough (having done 40 hours this week my pockets are ready to explode ;D) |

Hey video rentals alright!
The guy in my local place just sits there and watches movies all day (and flirts with certain good lookin females that come in!)
My parents actually pay me not to work, i get £130 a month.
It's a hard life...

if im out of work my mum'll subsidise *some* going out but the though of £130 a month for nothing is unbelieveable.
your vid guy may have it easy but mine aint that nice.
if im there alone its ok coz i can relax and just serve customers...flirt...etc

hmmmm, i see the predicament
i wanted to get a job just for something to do because it's a little boring sitting on the sofa in your underpants all day, even though i've got a car and stuff, i just cant be arsed to go out.
At the mo i'm working with a good family friend who runs a music management company so i'm enjoying myself, and i get to surf the net all day hehe!
Perservere with the slightly pants job though, the pay cant be that bad and if you've worked 40 hours you've gotta have enough money to install sky digital now, especially with all these offers they're doing at the moment!

true but im saving my cash to go to a festivel in august and newcastle parties...etc. besides getting sky soley for knightmare seems a bit of a waste  |

Well, you wouldn't be getting sky only for Knightmare, there are other good TV programmes on sky too, like...

bah work was good today. i worked like a bi-hotch for the first 2 hours to get the posters/hoovering/videos...etc all done and neat. then for the next seven i sat on my heiny and served customer/chated up the women (one nice one, though admittedly a year younger than myself, has applied for a job with me Woo Hoo! ;D)

didnt you think "why doesn't he go for someone his own age?"? or anything like that?
anyway, im 18 and im cool as low as 16. no lower. a)its illeagel and b)it just feels wrong ok.

some peeps get all the luck  buy anything nice? add 1 - 6:30 today 5.5 hour = 21 hours. im keeping track here so my boss doesn't try to screw me over ;D 2moro im opening up for the first time ever. got taught the alarm code today and everything. yippee! now i can break into the shop any time i like...not that i would of course ;D unless the boss docks me another hour AGAIN! cheeky bugger said i hadn't worked 1/2 hour at the begining and end of a particular day and paid me an hour less...i wouldnt make such a big deal except only moments before i corrected his math by telling him id worked 3.5 hours less than he'd calculated. next time i DEFINETLY won't do the honest thing if that's how im thanked. |
