Yeah... Viva la Amiga! I'm totally with you ML. I remember the glory days of the late 80s and early 90s (much like Knightmare, in fact) when I would buy my Amiga Power without fail and read it cover to cover whether I was going to buy any games or not. Then in 1995 the mag wasted away into nothing and stopped altogether. Elita tells me that the Amiga is still popular in mainland Europe, so there's always the chance for a comeback. Ah, Rodland, Lemmings, Monkey Island, Dizzy, Indy... The list goes on and on. I've still got my old A500, so I must dig it out again.

Aah, the good ol' Amiga with the joysticks with green bases, pink sticks and yellow buttons! Did anyone else have those?!
My brother had an Amiga 500 but then he upgraded to a 1200...
he was so cool back then.....

I am a Sinclair Spectrum ZX man myself!
However it is possible to get like tons of Amiga games for the pc, my mate bought something like 500 in 1 for like £10-£20!
But if you also like playing with the old joystick <Be sensible> they have relauched them with like 10 built in games for about £20! There are a couple of these, one with classics like Asteroids etc, the other one with Pac Man and more!

All the old 80s classics are getting a second wind on java-enabled mobile phones these days, too, which is nice.
I grew up with a BBC Model B (marvellous machine). It's as old as I am but it still works. I'm probably the world's youngest 80s programming veteran. Those were the days when they were called 'micros' as opposed to 'computers'. I taught myself to read using the user guide and started programming it when I was about four. I recommend it to anyone.

Can anyone remember RM Nimbus? That's the very first computer (I think, other than a Commodore +4) that I ever used. They had a few at my old Primary School.

The Amiga was great, but the BBC Micro was even better (though I grew up with the Master, not the B).
