OK, I wrote this a while ago, when I was feeling a bit depressed, I had it on my boards, and was wondering what you guys thought of it!
As the world turns, our lives turn with it We are instruments of fate No raging against it will ever change that Our lives are at the mercy of our world Sometimes the only way to decide Is to roll the dice And wait
Good or bad, we have to trust ourselves In the end, all we are and all we can be Will be ashes in the wind There is nothing we can do to change it We have to accept it And live our lives for now, not the future Our lives have a beginning a middle and an end There is nothing we can do stop that finality Only savour the parts in between
So, what do you guys think? Honest opinons please, and don't take it too literally!

Yeah! It's good.
I must admit I like it because it's short, I hate really long poems that go on about nothing.
But your poem is neither long nor goes on about nothing.
I like it!
;D

Very good! It reminds me of a lyric from a Moody Blues song called The Story In Your Eyes: Listen to the tide slowly turning Wash all our heartaches away. We're part of the fire that is burning And from the ashes we can build another day.

i just dont like to feel im not in control..type 1 personality or somthing like that. maybe im just afraid of letting stuff get out of hand.

Hmm, that's the total opposite of me I'm afraid! I let fate do the deciding, as it's something I believe in. Heh, but my friends say that's just an excuse not to do anything!
