As I sit and type this, there is a bit of dance music playing in this internet cafe and, musically, it's virtually identical to something I wrote! There's a piano hook that is EXACTLY the same to the one in my song! There's also a HUGE lyrical similarity:

"You can do what you want to do, you can be what you want to be..."

The universe is taking the mickey out of me!!!

Well, actually, I'm influenced a bit by the Moody Blues. You'll be able to see that in their songs, particularly those written by their frontman Justin Hayward.

Tis quite odd, really: I found out after I became a fan that JH has the same birthday as me, has blonde hair and blue eyes and both his parents were teachers, just like me! Spooky.
