On Sunday night! The sky was v. clear and we had a good view of it! We just had a pair of binoculars so we couldn't make out any details on the surface, but seeing it was just soooooo cool! ;D Even before I used the binoculars, I could see its reddy tinge - it was VERY clear! ;D Did anyone else see it?
I also looked at some stars up above me too - it gave me a very weird feeling!

Unfortunatly, living in London makes it hard to see things like that, too much pollution.

And thousands of street lights! It's a pity you won't be able to see it...

The skies are always very clear where I am atm (although I'm going home on Thursday). Venus is incredibly bright. I had a quick search for Mars last night but couldn't find it. Is it the South side of the sky that it's visible from? What time of night is it best to have a look for it?

It's in the south-east sky. It was about 10.30 when I saw it, and it was bright then. But because you're a little more east at the moment it might be a bit later when it's clearer.
