Well, Illusion has been kind enough to include and link 'Enter, Leaper' on knightmare.com, where I hope it will be enjoyed by plenty of people, who'll be willing to give feedback to that effect.
I have been working out the plot of a second Quantum Leap/ Knightmare crossover, though I may wait for some more feedback before I write it. The working title is 'I, Julius'...

I miss this place. Even though there's a new Knightmare Back-Up Forum available, I doubt it will ever be the same. And in terms of my involvement with the Knightmare community, this thread is where it all started. Barring the IKM caption competitions I entered earlier in 2003, that is. But I did refer to one of those: The crossover was inspired by a Quantum Leap parody I submitted to a recent caption competition (Cartoon Shockery) on the Interactive Knightmare website. This in turn was inspired by a parody of QL on the TV series Family Guy, which is similar to the Simpsons but funnier in places (highly recommended in itself). I'm looking forward to seeing the relevant Family Guy episode, when (after two postponements) it is shown on BBC2 tonight.

I've now typed up the whole of my story Or so I thought. Only this week did I discover that I missed out a whole page/scene. It has now been inserted, both on Knightmare.com and Fanfiction.net, making the story complete. I do have a new KM crossover fanfic in progress, but cannot say when it will be finished. Season's Greetings to my old friends from this forum. Wherever you are now, I hope you have not entirely forgotten it.

Happy New Year to anyone who still checks this forum. After a 7-year interval, I recently wrote a fourth KM/QL crossover fanfic. It's called The Cure For Disruption (which you may recognise as a quotation from the Oracle in Series 2) and can be found with the others on fanfiction.net (there's a link to my account earlier in this thread). I hope people enjoy it.

Hello. I do hope that I'm not the only member who still gets drawn back to these shores, but I won't be too optimistic. Anyway, at the end of 2012, I wrote another Knightmare fanfic. Called The Three of Hearts, it's mostly set at the very end of Series 4, after the infamous and hilarious playing card incident with Brother Mace, who features prominently in the story. There's no Quantum Leap element this time, but to say that the fanfic is entirely bereft of crossover time-travel elements would be less than true.
Feedback on The Three of Hearts has been minimal, but some of it has come from Michael Cule, so I am pleased about that. If you'd like to read it, it's on fanfiction.net and Knightmare.com.
And to any fellow old (and, dare I say it, older) faces still looking this way: thank you. Were it not for the welcome you gave me here, I might not have ventured much further into the online Knightmare community - where I still find myself, nearly ten whole years later.

Since I last posted here in May 2013, we've had five years of Knightmare Live shows, an official Knightmare convention and a new episode of Knightmare. Who'd have imagined that?
While Knightmare will always be special to me on a personal level, being part of a Knightmare fan community - as I have been for 15 years, as of this month - is special too. I'm grateful to those of you who made me welcome here, made me want to stay and made me your friends.
As for new fanfiction: since my previous post, I've written CSI: Knightmare, which took years to finish. I post some satire on the main forum from time to time, plus the odd sketch. Maybe the Knightmare song parodies count too. I have a longstanding idea for another crossover fanfic: CatacomBugs, set between Series 4 and 5. It's likely I'll never get it written though.
I trust that if you've forgotten this place, you haven't forgotten the TV series that brought you here. I hope it will continue to enrich and entertain you.

Hi I've been working on a Knightmare story (which I know puts me in distinguished company). It is something which doesn't seem to have been done before - a crossover between Knightmare and the science-fiction series 'Quantum Leap'. I've called the story 'Enter, Leaper'. This looks like the right section of the forum to bring it up! So if what I've said so far is enough to get anyone interested, I'll be happy to discuss it further. If not, fair enough... 20 years ago this month, I joined this forum to share my Knightmare / Quantum Leap fanfic. (I'm not quite sure why I thought it necessary to put Quantum Leap in quotation marks.) Thanks to the welcome I received, I'm still active on the Knightmare forums. Three more KM/QL fanfics followed. And this year, almost unbelievably, I've watched new episodes of Quantum Leap.
