Curse our brilliantly strong economy, which makes every other country look cheap! $2 for £1? In my day you'd be lucky to get a cent from three shillings. The days were great in 1930. Everybody knew where they stood...
I like the conspiracy theory (or in fact actual truth) that HStorm mentioned. People usually go on a show to promote something, why not all these developments?
I wonder if there'll be a spot where he'll take calls from the viewing public:
Dock (Or is it Dim?)"And on line 1 we have someone known as 'Lord Bob'. What is your question?" Lord Bob (For it is he): "Could you do your catchphrase?" Hugo: "*Sigh* Oooh....NASTY." Dim (Or is it Dock?): "Ha ha, brilliant! On line 2 we have, erm... Skarkill?" Skarkill: "Hehehehe...LOVELY. You never did get Pickle back, did you? I captured 'im, brought 'im back to 'is Fearship an' let 'im stay there!" Hugo: "Er....right." Dock/Dim: "And on line 3 we have HStorm." HStorm: " Do you know if Majida is still single?"
Might also like to indtroduce him to the roleplay forum. After all, would be nice to have a Treguard there... ;D

You know what I think, everybody? This week we've had an announcement that Challenge? have bought up no fewer than THREE seasons of KM. We also hear that Treguard's making his first new appearance on Network TV in ten years, a classic promotional stunt if ever I heard one. And of course next month, T'Virtual's demo video for the proposed new Knightmare will be released. All this happens at once? Can it be a coincidence? I think not. I reckon Challenge? are about to announce that they're buying up the rights for the new series as well! What do you think? My thoughts exactly. A similar thing happened in November 2002 when Challenge bought series 3, Televirtual announced the reformatting and CITV announced it's birthday bash - all in the space of a couple of days! And now it's happened again. A rather interesting little drama is being played out and it's heading for the Grand Finale. MPK: That's a very good point indeed. It must have been him. Having a Km fan in his position would be very handy - friends on the inside etc. It certainly worked in the case of Challenge what with the announcers plugging Km.

I'm surpised we don't get charged to the ground we stand on, going to the toilet or the air we breath, but wait we do get charged for going to the toilet as sometimes we have to pay to go in..... Slightly off topic, but at Harrods they charge you a pound to go to the loo! I never had to pay though becuase my Mum's a gold card holder, and they are VERY posh loos!

Well there was a lady in there who would check every toilet after it had been used. They used to have bottles of perfume too so you could have a quick spray! hehe
Anyway back to the subject, there's definately something Knightmareish brewing, hehe

Well, it was nice that he signed the programme off with a traditional "Oooooooh nasty", as I think we were all expecting him to do. But honestly, was it worth sitting through two hours of such unmitigated guff for?
We kept getting glimpses of Treguard in a prison cell looking pained and embarrassed the rest of the morning... and that kind of summed up how I felt.
Somebody has GOT to do something about children's TV, QUICKLY!!!

Hehe, it wasn't that bad - they didn't make him do the Row Row Row Your Boat thing! It was great when he was in the cell - he gave us The Classic Evil Look. And ending the programme with his catchphrase (we all know the one!) was marvellous! This must be the first time that Hugo Myatt has played Treguard since 1994. If today wasn't some kind of test then I don't know what is. All I can say is: many thanks, Steve Ryde! ;D

I still think I've lost the will to live after seeing 2 hours of that. I didn't even like the Looney Tune- It was just too surreal.
Still, at least he was dressed as Treguard (from the series 7/8 era). It was a different kind of catchphrase, though. More sinister. I liked that.

Yeah, the line was beautifully delivered, with a nice extra layer of disgust (doubtless a relfection on having to sit through two hours of that pair of d!ckheads prancing around like, well... a pair of d!ckheads). I just wish the show overall had something in it that didn't burst the brain cells in such copious amounts.

I was up at about seven this morning but forgot (yes, i know, it's absolutely disgusting but I'm getting old, ya see) about Treguard being on TV till 10:00, turned over anyway but thought i'd missed him only to be confronted by dodgy cartoons and a weird game envolving blowing up balloons with air pumps. Is it me or do they just shove a load of kids in a room (dock and dim included) and just let them run riot for a while in an attempt to entertain young viewers? Gosh I'm sounding old, right rant over, smiles from now on
;D
edited becuase i'm getting too old to spell properly

It was so much better in my day...1992....
Either CBBC with Otis the Aardvark or Live and kicking (when it was good) or Disney Club (the show that in the US brought the trinity of doom...Britney Spears, Justin timberlake and Christina Aguilera). Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers (a programme I only remembered last night), Talespin, Captain Planet, Alvin and the chipmunks (Ok, that one is not good), The Raccoons (Much better)...
And this was just morning TV! The haven was CITV in the weekday afternoons...had some programme involving a bloke with a beard....I think I've just come full circle.

Captain Planet, he's a hero, gonna take pollution down to zero.... He's our powers, magnified, and he's fighting on the planet side....
We're the chipmunks, c.h.i.p.m.u.n.k, we're the chipmunks....
Alvin, Simon, Theodore!
do, do, dodododo do, do, dodododo
hehe ooh the memories come flooding back, i can still remember the old Live and Kicking telephone number....

I remember it more when they did a 'rock' version of it
*Gruff voice* 0181 811, 8181! (*Guitar grunge*) X2
Don't try it now, though, because it could lead to some old lady with 46 cats in her one-bedroom home in Lincoln.
