I love it! I'm really enjoying the last ever series (sob! ) at the moment and I've started collecting the DVDs. I used to have a lot of Friends videos, but in the age of DVDs, choosing video is SO passe! Lol, anyway, I just wondered who else here is a fan of it. I love the whole gang but if I had to pick favourites then it'd be Joey and Phoebe.

I've got all 9 series on DVD and saw the first 12 episodes of the new series ages ago, so yeah, you could say i enjoy it!

'Friends' still makes me laugh, but not as much as it used to. My favourite scene is the one with Rachel sitting next to Hugh Laurie on a flight to London. I'll probably look in on the forthcoming spin-off too - 'Joey's Place' I think it's called.

'Joeys Place'
I'm sure they could've come up with a better name than that!

My interest in it has recently been rejuvenated thanks to the final series! ("I GOT AN 8!!!")
Fav Character has to be Chandler, for his never ending wit!

yeah, once you know al the stories you can just watch loads episodes in random orders.
For me it went downhill a bit in series 7 I believe, I didnt think it was up to their normal standard, but still good. The later ones have been better though.
The weirdest thing is going right back to series one and seeing the old hairstyles and clothes they wore!
;D

There was a heavily-criticised moment in the series Happy Days, when The Fonz jet-skied over a shark. Since then, 'jumping the shark' has become an expression for the moment when a TV show seems to go downhill. I feel, as do many others, that Friends became less enjoyable when Chandler and Monica got together. It might be interesting to visit the website www.jumptheshark.com, and see what opinions people have about any jumping-the-shark moments in Friends. And all the other shows mentioned on there.

I agree it seems less funny these days, tho' I still love it. I suspect Ross 'n' Rachel will get together properly at the end of the series.

My favourite scene is the one with Rachel sitting next to Hugh Laurie on a flight to London. A scene (two scenes, in fact) I'd forgotten about until this post reminded me. uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eti9dOxongg'Joeys Place' I'm sure they could've come up with a better name than that! In the end they just called it Joey, so it seems not.

I was going to watch Joey, but in the end...didn't! The mediocre reviews put me off I heard from people that watched it that it wasn't that bad, but I don't really think I missed that much. Still hoping there'll be a Friends movie at some point

I watched Joey a bit, it had some fun moments, but not enough so I stopped watching...and they put if off the air here.

I think Joey only ran for two seasons, meaning there wasn't much to air in the first place! I never watched it either. Where American spin-off sitcoms are concerned, I doubt that Frasier, which of course spun off from Cheers, will ever be outclassed.
A Friends movie could be excellent or terrible. But if they make one, I'm sure a lot of people will be pleased.
The most recent episode of Little Britain USA featured Paul Rudd playing the French president. And since the studio segments of the series were directed by David Schwimmer, this means that 'Mike' and 'Ross' were reunited!
Here is the Friends/Knightmare crossover sketch that I posted on the main forum a couple of years ago:
