Can I ask you guys something? Do I come across as being strange sometimes? The reason I ask is that my friend keeps sending me links to hentai even though I've asked them not to... That's why I'm asking as they keep sending them to me. Did that make any sense?

I think they're just doing it to wind you up. I suppose you come across as unconventional (I wouldn't say strange), but there's no harm in that.

Did you talk to your friend about hentai, maybe your disgust in it, which is why she is doing this, as HStorm says winding you up!
I should ask your friend why though, because the worse case scenario is that your friend has a virus and is sending this hentai to everyone, but like I say this is only WCS and very unlikely!

You did not come across as weird - you came across very well.  I was impressed and grateful.
