Is anyone else having problems with their Yahoo mail? The problem I am having is that when I try and login with Netscape it asks me to download a programme. When I try and login with IE it gives me a load of garbled text most of the time. This has been happening to me for about a week, apart from yesterday. I sent a message to Yahoo and they didn't give me a helpful answer. My dad has been having a similar problem with his hotmail account.

Maybe a virus if this is all happening on the same computer?

I have tried on 2 other computers and am still getting the same problem. I do manage to get in on the odd occasion, but not very often! Also I have virus checked my computer and it appeared to be clean, so unless there's a virus in my mail box or on the main Yahoo computer, which has got into my mail box.

If you have had probs with hotmail have you treid contacting msn, see if there answer is similar to that from Yahoo or something completely different and... possibly more helpful perhaps?
Its strange that you had to dl a programme to get to somewhere where I presume you have vistied before and as both a hotmail and yahoo user, no such request have been asked of me. It would probalbly be an idea to setup a new account, and see if you can access this ok.

My dad has been having almost identical problems with a hotmail account as I've already said. He contacted msn and they were even less helpful than Yahoo, such as they didn't reply. I do have another totally different account with another provider with even larger box space and so far no problems. I have got to forward all my Y! mail to that address (long process with little amount of time). I am in the process of notifying people and changing the address on my accounts and notifications. I do manage to get into my yahoo account, which I have done twice today but not at the moment though!

Aaaah. I seem to have sorted me email problems out. Yesterday I restored my browser to the previous one I had and that seemed to do the trick.
