How bout that, in less than 15mins being back Im already starting a new thread! Check me!
Ok, now those of you who have followed Doctor Who this past couple of years know how there is always a storyline running right through the series. In S1 there was Bad Wolf, which didnt really amount to anything, S2 had Torchwood, S3 had You Are Not Alone etc!
Now we are in series 4, I have my own theories as to the series' direction. This is the thread where we can all bounce along ideas!
So what do you think?

Clips of Rose. Clearly the barrier between dimensions is breaking down again.

Bad Wolf has actually continued beyond Series 1, and has even spread into Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. In S2, the Doctor and Rose said goodbye on Bad Wolf Bay. An American newsreader named Mal Loup keeps cropping up. And in the most recent episode, Silence In The Library, I spotted a child's painting of a wolf on a red background on the Girl's wall - alongside one of a blonde woman... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_arcs_in_Doctor_Who#Bad_Wolf reveals some more. And further down that page is a 'Series Four arc' section. A couple of S4 themes that may or may not come to something: "lost" planets, and disappearing bees. I'd be interested to hear your theories if you read this and feel like sharing them, MPK.

I'm interested in finding out what this "something on your back" thing is - what is exactly on Donna's back? I've read some people's theories where they think that a spider from Metebelis 3 is what's on her back, but I think that's a bit far-fetched...

Sometimes it seems like nothing's too far-fetched for Doctor Who. ;D Not a Metebelis spider but a 'Trickster Brigade time beetle', with a design apparently based on the Metebelis spider!
As for all the other tying up of loose ends in those stunning final episodes, it's hard to know where to start...

I vote for Philip Glenister to be the 11th Doctor ;D I know David Tennant's not going anywhere yet, but when he does then Phil (my "husband", hehe ) - would be an excellent choice

Someone told me that DT is leaving. Guess they were reading too much into rumours. Not being a Doctor Who fan or watcher I know who I and a couple of other people would like as the next Doctor ;D. But that wont happen.

Do you mean J. May, by any chance? ;D Though he may not play the next Doctor, there's quite a possibility that he could one day appear in Doctor Who as himself: a lot of celebrities (especially those associated with the BBC) have had cameos, during scenes where characters are watching present-day TV.
In spite of the regeneration cliffhanger in the last series, I didn't think it likely that David Tennant would leave at that point. After all, no Doctor deserves to be given "I'm regenerating" as his last words, least of all one as popular as the Tenth Doctor.

Yeah, and practically every hardcore Who fan had already seen those pics of him filming the Christmas Special (and knew about him being in the 2009 specials as well) so knew that he wasn't going anywhere Although there were a few on Digital Spy that were convinced that David was playing a fake Doctor and the real Doctor was David Morrissey (or something).

Might be a bad idea and he sort of said something along the lines of that himself over people asking him if some rumours about him being the next Doctor are true or not. I think the rumours were started on Digital Spy. I would like to see a cross over of somekind where DW meets TG for say the next Comic or Sports Relief.
