Well here is my opinion of episode 1...I thought it was great fun and Phil was brilliant too. Ok so it's not quite Buffy but since that's not getting made anymore, anything like it on TV these days is a real must-see for me

Are you finding it difficult to adjust to PG's American accent? I'm guessing that it takes at least one episode for most viewers to convince themselves that they're not watching Gene Hunt!
And as a Doctor Who fan, did you recognise Christian Cooke?

I like the accent, but yeah it was a bit weird hearing him talk in it to start with! He sounds a bit like the actor who played Mr Diagoras in "Daleks In Manhattan" (who was a real American, I think) in places. Christian Cooke = Ross Jenkins ("we like Ross") from The Sontaran Strategem/The Poison Sky Episode 2 was better than the first one, probably because there's no need for letting people know who all the characters are. Straight into the actual plot this time The demon - Gilgamel - was really scary and the make-up for it was about Buffy standard ;D

Very good! When I saw him on Doctor Who, it took me a while to place him; but eventually I remembered that he'd appeared earlier in 2008 in Echo Beach on ITV1, as the son of Jason Donovan's character.
From what I've seen, the make-up/prosthetics do look first rate.

^^ Talking of Jason Donovan, I'm reading his autiobiography at the moment (got it at library) - it's really good! Back on topic, I'm not sure if Demons'll get another series considering the ratings have dropped down to 3.5 million (something like that, anyway) since it started. Hopefully it will, because it was starting to find its feet and although it's no Buffy The Vampire Slayer, it's still quite a good show.
