favorite alcoholic drink (if you do drink) pros and cons of drinking redcomendations...etc right now i cant seem to escape the wonders of...The "bullsh!t" double vodka + redbull believe me, this thing is lovely tasting and isnt too drunk making as the caffine keeps you sharpish

My favourite drink at home is the Austrian white wine Jason's Creek (it's 13% vol.). I've got Smirnoff vodka in the house too but I haven't had any for a while. When I'm in a pub, I like American beer, like Miller's. Either that or lager.
Pros of drinking: feeling spaced out (man). Cons of drinking: feeling sick (I haven't drunk enough at a time to actually be sick, though. I hate being sick so I try to avoid it).

nah, i dont get that con unless i drink WAY TOO MUCH. and even then i have *never* had a hang over...the cure is simple. after coming home from a night out have these three things two glasses of water a slice of bread a packet of ready salted crisps gives you salt, slow release sugers, and rehydrates you. all the stuff that hangovers are made of. all this pint of milk stuff is bull

I don't drink.
My phoney excuse for not drinking is that alcohol is a drug (regardless of whether it is legal or not).
My real excuse for not drinking is that it is something grown-ups do.

I don't understand people who go out virtually every night, drink bottles and bottles of stuff and then get hangovers. They just don't think of the damage that's being done and the risks they face when they're paralytic - especially women, who seem to be out-drinking men these days.
I don't drink that often and when I do, it's not much 'cause I never want to lose control of what I'm doing, or damage my insides.

I understand what you mean about not wanting to lose control. I'd hate that. More than that, I'd probably be one of those people who get horribly maudlin when drunk.

Actually had a very boozy weekend this weekend due to the masses of bottles of champagne (and decent champagne at that) given to me by various well wishers.

I don't really either. Perhaps a few Bud's occasionally, but I'm not really a big drinker. Nowt wrong with that as far as I'm concerned.
