LOL, not that I know! Someone sent him a virus, and he didn't realise until it was to late, so now the computer won't even start! As for the TV, no-body knows what's wrong with it, even the TV repair man!

I also considered getting an X-Box when I decided to get a new console, but ended up getting the PS2 instead 'cause I decided it had a great line up of games. The X-Box seems to get a lot of stick from non X-Box magazines - why is that? Because it's an easy and cheap thing to do, by taking a swipe at Microsoft. The X-Box is fairly good actually. What persuaded me to buy it at the time was its inbuilt DVD Player, which beats the PS2 one hands down. Yes, I had to pay £20 for the honour, but it was worth it ;D Currently looking foward to: Simpsons Hit and Run!

Me bro used to have that Indiana Jones game! I used to love it, drove him mad playing it all day and night on his amiga! ;D Heheh, the night after I wrote that, I searched on Google for a way to make them all work on XP. I've been playing 'Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atalantis' solidly this weekend ;D Monkey Island next...

PS2 has a wider selection of games to choose from, but the X-Box has games like 'Doom 3' coming out. Oh, but there's a new Turtles game coming out on the PS2 soon

You can connect to the Internet with the PS2 by getting a Network Adaptor - I don't have one though so I'm not that sure what it's capabilities are, apart from allowing you to play online games with other owners.
On Friday I bought second hand copies of Final Fantasy X and Tomb Raider (the original PSone game). FF is a top game ;D, but I've discovered that I need a PSone memory card before TR will save. You can still get them, can't you?

GameGirl, you should be able to buy PS1 memory cards! And I think the PS2 has an internet connection, but I think you have to but it separate.

Ancient, ancient topic I know, but I couldn't resist replying to it again as since I last posted in it, I now have a DS (original, not Lite) and a Wii ;D My niece was given my PS2, but now she's getting a Wii too (plus she has a DS, like me). Means when I go to her house, I can take my Remote with me and play multiplayer games with her ;D *feels smug about Ninty ruling the roost, console-and-game-wise*

I still have my old Spectrum in one of my wardrobes, but the lightgun doesn't work properly any more (same with the joystick). It's a shame because Bullseye was my fave game on it
