What is unique about you? Mine is my eternal optimism, and the belief that everything will be fine, eventually. ;D

Mine is that I've never had a boyfriend or gone out on a date - and I'm 23! I like plenty of men but at school I just wasn't interested in boys at school and when I did start liking men, I was too shy to ask any out! It's still the same now!

I'm approaching 21 and I've never had a girlfriend or been on a date. I was never interested at school (a putrid mix of denial, justifiable self-hate and insecurity).

Actually, I'm the same. Whilst in school, the only guys I had an interest in were much older than me. It's the same now. But I'm the same as you GameGirl, I can't get the courage to ask them out.

Phew! I was beginning to think I was the only one without a partner. Because of my shyness, I rely on men to come over to me...which never happens

I've never been in a situation where anything like that could even happen (asking someone out/being asked out, although the latter is unlikely to the point of hilarity). I did go to a club for the first time at the end of term, but I was tricked - I didn't know it was a club. Mally and clubs go together like oil and water.

Same here! Although I've never been to a club yet, but they're not my kind of thing to be honest. I'm scared of going out at night anyway 'cause I don't have a car and the bus station in my nearest town is a bit dodgy at night *shudders*

I much prefer listening to good music, going to the cinema, reading a good book or watching KM on the telly (or something else in that genre). I never wear skirts or dresses either, so I don't think I'd fit in with the girls at nightclubs - not as if they'd talk about interesting stuff anyway! ;D And then there's those boozy, loud guys all over the place...nope, clubs ain't for me!

Hmm! I feel soiled now that I've been to one! I don't think I'll be going back, though, but I guess it's too late! I was afraid of this. You've probably heard of the now-infamous Truth Or Dare sessions in the Km chat - when I found out that some people could write an entire kama sutra whereas I couldn't even manage a leaflet. The fact that there were people younger than me doing all that stuff really terrified me. It was a huge reality check for me. And now I really don't know where I stand.

Lol, don't worry about going to the club - you were tricked, we forgive you! *hugs Mally* And you're not a boozy loud guy, you're very clever and we all love ya! And I don't know much about the Kama Sutra either, so you're not alone there either, hehe! We're original people who don't conform to 'standards' and we're proud of that! ;D

Aw, thanks! ;D (I didn't do any dancing when I was there and I don't drink, so I think I'm still OK Me like it here! The trouble with me is that I was so totally against being the stereotype for years that it had a detrimental effect on me. Now I find myself wanting to be a bit more 'normal' for a while, to see what it's like in case I'm missing out on something.

*hugs Malefact* Don't worry, I'm the same! But it's kinda disturbing IMO, when children know about the Kama Sutra and stuff like that. They know more than me I hate wearing skirts and dresses as well, they just don't look right on me!

I'm the same with dresses and skirts. They don't suit me, either. ;D
I guess forming relationships comes more naturally to some people than others. Some people are just better and more comfortable at sharing themselves like that.

You're not missing out on much - trust me, normal's boring! It's better being individual, like we are - it's far cooler I used to wear skirts and dresses when I was a kid and a young teenager (12/13) and hated trousers! But then it changed later on and now it's the other way round, lol! ;D
