so...what do people think of them. what do people know about them? anyone study/practice them? I recently took up TaeKwon Do (the art of hand and foot) and was meant to be taking my first grading today...only when we arrived we found that the grading had been a week ago and noone had bothered to tell my instuctor it's only my first grading and should be easy enough but it's annoying as i also missed an oppertunity in june to grade as my instructor was away. i'll be a white belt forever on the plus side i got a nice training session today by a different instuctor (the place we thought the grading was to take place had a tae kwon do session going on in it which we joined) and did quite a lot of sparing woo hoo! so yeah, i know a bit about TKD and alot less about others. Tang Su Do is basicly the sister art of TaeKwon Do which some mates of mine study up in newcastle. both originated in Korea and as part of grading in TKD you need to learn Korean terminolgy as well as physical moves...etc.

I like the Martial Arts, my brother does, or rather did, kung fu, and I'll probably be taking up Tai Ci, although that isn't seen by some as a proper martial art. I like the fact that it calms you, and keeps you focused!
