2009? That's a shame, I thought it was going to be part of ITV1's Autumn schedule. I hope it's worth the wait for P.G. fans, vampire fans and others alike. You'll be pleased to know that when I did a Google search for The Last Van Helsing, a teamglenister thread made the top ten of the results!
Fortunately, in terms of new fantasy/sci-fi drama, TV won't be a barren wasteland this autumn. I discovered by chance yesterday that BBC1 is repeating Series 1 of The Sarah Jane Adventures on Sunday afternoons, with Series 2 waiting in the wings. I'm sure it won't disappoint. And with any luck, BBC1's new series about Merlin should be right up our street.
