Well it doesn't look like the series is going to start before April, as this month's DWM has said an April date is likely, but it hasn't been set yet. Oh and the second part of the Cybermen two-parter is called "The Age Of Steel"

I didn't realise the Cybermen adventure was going to be in two parts. But I'm sure it's the least they deserve. Can anyone fill me in on when they were last seen, and which Doctor they last tangled with?
Is this month's DWM the one with the John Woodnutt tribute? If so, what's it like?

Last Doctor they encountered was the 7th incarnation (Sylv McCoy) - the episode was called "Silver Nemesis". They were defeated with arrows tipped in gold.
The obit for John Woodnutt is really good, it covers a whole page and goes over his whole career, and it mentions him being in KM as Mogdred and Merlin.

Thanks, Mrs. Barrowman. ;D
And what news of Torchwood? Is it scheduled to start during the forthcoming Dr. Who series, or after?

It's supposed to start filming this summer (I assume they mean May or June) and it's supposed to air this autumn on BBC1 and BBC3

Have to say I much prefer David Tennant as the Dr, goes with the sightly off kilter personality! ;D

I must confess, I find myself watching the latest episodes and thinking, I wonder if that scene would work better with Christopher Eccleston instead? For one thing, his chemistry with Billie Piper was more compelling, and I feel that giving David Tennant a new companion in Series 3, a clean slate of sorts, will help the series.
I'd be interested to hear what people's favourite episode/moment of the series is so far. Mine's probably School Reunion - a strong episode across many areas, with plenty to appeal to all levels of Doctor Who fan. One last point - I wish they'd go easy on the Torchwood references!

There the co-script writers along with Russal. T .Grant. I like the way that you confused Russell T. Davies and Richard E. Grant to create a famous astrologer. ;D LOL! I can understand why that T is there!!! As you might expect, both Russell T. Davies and Richard E. Grant started using a middle initial to avoid confusion with namesakes. But I found out this week that Russell T. Davies in reality has no middle name!

So what did everyone think of Voyage Of The Damned then? A lot of people have compared it to The Posiedon Adventure (I may have spelt that wrong) but since I haven't seen either the original or the update of this film I can't really comment on this...
Anyway, I liked it - good, solid entertainment and Kylie did ok! It wasn't the best episode of new Who but it's still miles better than lots of the other programmes on TV, even when it's merely good and not brilliant (which for me, it is most of the time) ;D
(Life On Mars is my other favourite show...although I love it in a completely different way to Doctor Who)

Did you get into Life On Mars because of seeing John Simm in Doctor Who, or is it just a coincidence?

Yep, I didn't watch Life On Mars when it was on TV to start with (something else I watched was on at the same time and so LOM lost out) so once I was smitten with John after seeing him as the Master, I thought it was a good excuse to get the LOM boxsets...and now I absolutely love it, and not just because of John being Sam Tyler The stories are great, the acting top-notch and Gene Hunt is a legend too ;D

Gene Hunt will be back, of course, in Ashes To Ashes...
